Car Reviews

Our top five new SUVs
1.
Audi Q7
We say: Massive, tech-laden SUV that has huge road presence and could inspire you to go off-roading, but price means it's only for the super rich.

You'll like: Macho looks, seven-seater, engines, quattro system, quality.

You won't: Steep Price, sparse dealer network.

Rs. 5434000 onwards
2.
Porsche Cayenne
We say: Off-road or on it, it just doesn't matter anymore - performance is available wherever your fancy takes you.

You'll like: This is perhaps the ultimate performance SUV the world has ever seen. Goes like nothing else, handles better than most and is car-like to drive. New suspension wizardry gives it superb capability.

You won't: The rear seats are not comfortable enough and the car is pricey.

Rs. 5680000 onwards
3.
BMW X5
We say: The best road-centric SUV money can buy. don't bother venturing too far off-road though.

You'll like: Drives like a sports car, seven seats, good brand image and therefore good resale value.

You won't: Not too capable off-road, 'iDrive' car computer is complicated to use.

Rs. 5120000 onwards
4.
Volvo XC90

Rs. 5512000 onwards
